Electronics: The bridge tone capacitor has been replaced, but the original is included in the case, though it is broken. The guitar has two original patent number sticker humbuckers, a three-way selector switch, two volume pots, and two tone pots. The pot codes date to 1966.
Pickup Measurements: neck - 6.9 kΩ, bridge - 7.5 kΩ
Hardware: The wood tailpiece insert has been removed and is not included with the guitar. The top has six metal plugs on the bass side of the lower bout. The tuners have been replaced with non original Kluson Deluxe tuning machines.

Modifications/Repairs: -The bridge tone capacitor has been replaced. The original is broken but is included in the case. -The wood tailpiece insert has been removed. -The top of the body had previously been drilled out for a left-handed controls configuration. These holes are now filled with metal plugs. -The tuners have been replaced with non original Kluson Deluxe tuning machines. The holes for the tuning pegs have been reamed out and there are multiple holes drilled for different types of tuners.

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Gibson guitar has aged nicely and is in good condition. The finish is glossy with extensive finish checking and small dings and finish chips throughout. The body shows some wear around the binding and has six metal plugs on the bass side of the top. The back of the neck has a large section where the finish has worn away, reaching from the nut to the neck joint. The headstock shows finish chipping and wear around its edges. The face of the headstock shows the footprints of previously installed tuners.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The frets are wide and medium height with light play wear. The serial number suggests a 1966 date.
