From Taylor:
This guitar is a previous year model.
Taylor’s 418e-R blends the power and tonal complexity of our big-bodied Grand Orchestra with the broad frequency range of rosewood paired with spruce. The result is a dynamic, piano-like voice that delivers both depth and detail. As big and bold as the sound is, the Grand Orchestra is incredibly balanced and responsive for its size, making it a surprisingly versatile instrument that can also answer the call for lush fingerstyle arrangements. Clean, modern appointments include crisp white binding, Renaissance fretboard inlays, and a three-ring rosette, with Taylor’s onboard Expression System® 2 acoustic electronics providing pro-grade amplified sound for performing or recording.
