Performance-Built w/ Proprietary DW Hardware
Combining the latest grain orientation technology and hand-selected North American Hard Rock Maple, DW’s HVX grain orientation arranges wood plies horizontally, vertically, and diagonally to deliver a low, punchy fundamental, while heat forming/cool tempering enhances shell strength and roundness, providing loads of resonance and projection that's perfectly suited for live applications.
Custom-inspired and handcrafted alongside DW’s renowned Collector’s Series drums, DW Performance Series drums feature the same reduced-size Quarter Turret lugs, offering a sleek, modern appearance, plus Graduated Counter Hoops, weighted per each shell size.

All Performance Series drums’ superior-sounding HVX shells come equipped with DW heads by Remo USA, STM (Suspension Tom Mounts), True Pitch tension rods to maximize tuning accuracy, and DW 45-degree back-cut bearing edges.
