Made in the same Kalamazoo, MI factory that Gibson occupied from 1917 to 1984, Heritage Guitars use much of the same know-how and original equipment to create their own brand of solid, semi-hollow, hollow-body guitars with lasting looks and timeless tone.
When Gibson left their Kalamazoo factory, many of the workers stayed behind. It’s here that Heritage Guitars was born. Founded by Jim Duerloo, Marv Lamb, and JP Moats, and now co-owned by Bill Paige and Mike Korpak, Heritage Guitars open the next chapter of their factory’s storied legacy with Standard, Artisan Aged, and Custom Shop Collections rooted in history, tradition, and the principles of the world’s finest lutherie, developed on the same benches they use today.
