Meris—Redefining "Small but Mighty"
Los Angeles-based boutique effects pedals company Meris is the brainchild of Engineer Terry Burton and DSP Designer Angelo Mazzocco. With prior histories working for Line 6 and Strymon, it's not surprising what this duo is able to accomplish in the world of digital effects pedals. However, a brand is nothing without an identity, which is where Creative Director Jinna Kim comes in.
This creative powerhouse of a trio is solely responsible for designing, building, branding, boxing and everything else it takes to get a pedal from their brain to your board. Meris combines art and engineering in a way that propels not only the guitar, but any instrument you can plug a 1/4" cable into, forward. Each pedal is meticulously hand-crafted and immensely deep, almost becoming an instrument in and of itself.
