Epiphone | Jerry Cantrell Signature Les Pauls
The new Epiphone Jerry Cantrell Models feature many of the Alice In Chains guitarists’ personal touches—including mahogany necks with a Cantrell-custom taper neck profile, Jerry Cantrell’s name on the truss rod cover in white script, as well as a JJ circle logo on the back of the headstock!
The new Jerry Cantrell Les Paul Custom Prophecy represents an optimal blend of modern and traditional features! Featuring a double-bound mahogany body with a maple cap and Ultra Modern weight relief for tone and comfort, a smooth-playing ebony fretboard with 24 jumbo frets, Grover® locking Rotomatic® tuners, plus a Graph Tech® nut for tuning stability, the Les Paul Custom Prophecy comes with custom-voiced Fishman® Fluence™ pickups that deliver three distinct tones—a warm PAF-style vintage humbucker, a hot modern humbucker, and a shimmering single-coil, all of which are accessible via push/pull volume and tone pots.
In addition to Jerry Cantrell’s personal touches, the Les Paul Custom Prophecy boasts Circle in Diamond custom fretboard inlays, as well as a Bone White finish accented by brushed nickel knobs and hardware.
Inspired by Jerry Cantrell’s iconic Les Paul Custom, the “Wino” Les Paul Custom comes with a 9-hole weight-relieved mahogany body, featuring a Dark Wine Red finish over a plain maple top, accented by gold hardware, including Grover® Rotomatic® Kidney tuners, an Alnico Classic PRO™ humbucker with a gold cover in the neck position, and an exposed coil 98T PRO humbucker in the bridge.
Like Cantrell’s own guitar, which he purchased while on tour with Alice In Chains, during the band’s early ‘90s heyday, the Epiphone “Wino” Les Paul Custom features an ebony fretboard with block inlays complemented by black speed knobs on the volume and tone pots.
The Coles 4038 was the overhead microphone of choice used to accurately capture Ringo Starr’s drums in early Beatles recordings. If one wants to hear the sonic capabilities of the 4038, they need look no further than “Please Please Me”, “Beatles for Sale,” and “A Hard Day’s Night.”View Details
In a rare moment of recurrence and recognition, the staff here at CME couldn’t help but notice the seemingly historical significance of three iconic delay pedals that debuted in March 2022: the BOSS RE-202 Space Echo, Line 6’s DL-4 MKII, and Chase Bliss Audio’s Habit—all within the same month!View Details
An homage to a rare and early Catalinbread pedal, the Catalinbread Tribute is an all-analog circuit that combines expressive, high-headroom overdrive with a powerful, flexible tone control based on the Catalinbread VariOboost semi-parametric EQ voiced for guitar—which was first designed by Catalinbread’s Founder, Nicholas Harris. Now, the Catalinbread Tribute offers guitarists of all stripes a supercharged one-band parametric EQ in lieu of a tone control, for serious tone-sculpting power!View Details
