New @ CME | Fender American Vintage II Series
Fender’s new American Vintage II Series offers period-accurate appointments, plus meticulously voiced, year-specific pickups
Inspired by the essence of authentic craftsmanship from the Golden Age of electric guitar design, the new Fender American Vintage II series draws on over 75 years of innovation to bring today’s players the essence of Fender craftsmanship and tone.
Featuring period-correct bodies, necks, and hardware, plus premium finishes and specially voiced pickups for each year, the American Vintage II series highlights a dozen instruments from benchmark years when certain models came together—all of which have since been recognized by players, collectors, and historians as pinnacles of Fender instrument production.
AMERICAN VINTAGE II: Fender’s Historical Instrument Voices
Designed for players with an appreciation for the historical significance and player-centric attributes of each, the instruments in the American Vintage II series are direct descendants of the original guitars and basses produced in Corona, California since the introduction of the first Fender solid-body electric guitars.
Giving today’s players a selection of guitars and basses that showcase the design achievements from the company’s history in each model’s purest form, these exacting recreations are built to the same quality standards, down to the last screw.
