Latvia's premier pedal designer, Gamechanger Audio, unveils a bright new idea: the LIGHT Analog Optical Spring Reverb pedal, the first analog optical spring reverb to incorporate infra-red optical sensors.
Pointed at different areas of the three center-mounted springs, these sensors detect even the smallest movements, many of which are too subtle to affect most mechanical reverbs. The pedal then uses these microscopic vibrations to produce frequencies, overtones, and textures other reverb pedals can't.
But Gamechanger takes it a step further. They've designed LIGHT to use this same sensitivity to guide six unique effects not typically available in spring reverbs: feedback, tremolo, sweep (modulation), reflect (delay), optics (frequency and texture calibration), and harmonic (added harmonics and octave tracking). The signal mix section stacks any of these effects, putting them into conversation with one another, or allows the user to simply strike an attractive balance between LIGHT's newly developed optical signal and reverb as you know it.
Much like a light wave itself, the potential is infinite. The only limitations are those you choose to place on it.
Are you ready to see the light? Preorder your Gamechanger Audio LIGHT Analog Optical Spring Reverb pedal today.
