The newly refreshed Gibson SG Modern incorporates many contemporary updates that players have embraced and it’s much more than a classic “solid guitar”; it’s a hybrid between an SG and a Les Paul. Shaped and scarfed like a classic SG, the body is crafted with a mahogany body. The genuine ebony, 24 fret compound radius fingerboard and asymmetrical, slim taper neck allow fast and silky access to the highest frets. Upscale appointments include genuine mother of pearl inlays, Grover Rotomatic tuners, and clear top hat knobs.

CME recently learned our special production run of Gibson USA SG Standard basses in Olive Drab and Pelham Blue were incorrectly built by Gibson without fingerboard binding. Some customers received instruments before we caught this error. We appreciate those that notified us right away and we greatly apologize for any trouble this may have caused. Anyone who purchased a bass while our advertisement described fingerboard binding is being contacted as quickly as possible.

Known for its double cutaway, the SG is the best-selling Gibson of all time, digging its horns deep into a wide variety of musicians since evolving out of the famed Les Paul in 1961. It continues to be a near-ubiquitous fixture of blues, rock, and popular music to this day, and now more so than ever with the Gibson USA Standard Bass. The SG Standard Bass features a solid mahogany body and neck with rounded profile, one-piece rosewood fingerboard, 30.5” scale length, Rhythm and Lead SG Bass pickups, and three-point adjustable bridge all for low end so low it’s downright devilish.

Bring your playing back to the future with the new Chase Bliss Habit, a delay pedal with memory. In its most simple form, Habit can be a delay that ranges from 50ms to 60 seconds, with a quasi-looping function. With its modifier, you can use it to modulate-tape delay, program a chimey, floating away feeling, or dial in a reverse delay. But Habit has a lot more tricks up its sleeve: it features a memory bank that stores up to three minutes of your playing when Habit is active. That memory gives you a pool of audio to reuse, manipulate, and mix into your playing later.
