Known for his energetic and appropriately sweaty live performances, Nathaniel Rateliff has emerged as a modern master of the genre mashup, blending country and folk with soul, R&B, and more to create a heady, party-ready sound that’s impossible to ignore. His new Gibson Montana Signature LG-2 takes a cue from its namesake, combining features on the LG-2 and Country Western to create a custom acoustic perfect for the stage or the studio.
The Gibson Montana Nathaniel Rateliff Signature LG-2 features a compact mahogany body, topped with Adirondack Red Spruce and adorned with a Vintage Sunburst finish for a retro look with tone to match. The 24 2/4”, Historic V-shape mahogany neck is classic and comfortable, outfitted with an Indian rosewood fingerboard, split parallelogram inlays, and mother of pearl Crown and Gibson logo and inlays on the headstock. As a personal touch, Gibson Montana has included nickel Gotoh Keystone tuners and black bridge pins, details from Rateliff’s own LG-2.
The Gibson Montana Nathaniel Rateliff Signature LG-2 comes equipped with LR Baggs VTC electronics and a Gibson hardshell case, ensuring it’s road-ready no matter the venue.
For a true show-stopper, preorder your Gibson Montana Nathaniel Rateliff Signature LG-2 now.
