Gretsch GUITARS | 2021
More mod magic from the historic brand!
Experience that great Gretsch sound for yourself in new models and old favorites with new colorways, fresh for 2021!
Gretsch debuts four new Limited Editions this year. First up, one of the brand's most desirable designs, the Falcon, gets a facelift in the 6136T Limited Edition Two-Tone, a Copper/Sahara Metallic masterpiece with dual TV Jones Ray Butts Full Fidelity pickups and a String-Through Bigsby bridge.
Another rare bird, the Penguin, looks as dapper as ever in the Gretsch G6134T Limited Edition Koa model, constructed with a chambered mahogany body and arched figured koa top. This well-dressed wonder comes outfitted with dual TV Jones TV Classic pickups and a Bigsby B3 vibrato tailpiece.
Gretsch captures the golden age of rock and roll in the G6119TG-62RW-LTD Limited Edition '62 Rosewood Tenny, a fully hollow, all-rosewood model with dual TV Jones TV Classic pickups, branded Bigsby B6 vibrato tailpiece, "Squeezebox" paper-in-oil capacitors, and vintage-inspired appointments.
Another Two-Tone release for 2021, the Gretsch G5410T Limited Edition Electromatic "Tri-Five" Hollow Body Single-Cut with Bigsby Two-Tone channels old-school car culture into a revving, roaring, rock and roll machine made for today. Fully hollow, this all-maple archtop comes equipped with dual Black Top Filter'Trons and a Bigsby B60 vibrato tailpiece.
Moving the vintage tradition forward, Gretsch offers two new Vintage Select '89 models for 2021, the G6129T-89VS Sparkle Jet and G6128T-89VS Duo Jet. Inspired by the rise of grunge, these single-cut solid bodies both feature Bigsby B3 vibrato tailpieces, TV Jones TV Classic Plus pickups in the bridge, and TV Jones TV Classics in the neck. The G6129T-89VS Sparkle Jet is available in Gold and Silver Sparkle, and the G6128T-89VS Duo Jet is available in Black.
The players spoke, and Gretsch listened. The G6228TG-PE Players Edition Jet BT tailors to the working musician with a chambered mahogany body and maple top for extra resonance and rich tone across the spectrum. A new lower neck set, rolled cutaway, and tapered heel enhance playing feel, and dual Broad'Tron B65 pickups, designed by Tim Shaw, supply the power when necessary.
Playable and potent, the Gretsch G2655T-P90 and G2655-P90 Streamliner Center Block Jr. Double-Cut P90s are howling, high-gain semi-hollow bodies built for modern players. Wired with dual FideliSonic 90 pickups, these classic Streamliners both feature chambered spruce center blocks for minimal feedback. The Gretsch G2655T-P90 Two-Tone comes equipped with a Bigsby B50 vibrato tailpiece and is available in finishes like Midnight Sapphire, Mint Metallic, and Sahara Metallic, each paired with a Vintage Mahogany Stain. The Gretsch G2655-P90 comes equipped with a V-Stoptail and is available in Brownstone or Claret Burst.
The Gretsch G2622T-P90 and G2622-P90 Streamliner Center Block Double-Cut P90s offer a mahogany-bodied alternative to the G2655T-P90 and G2655-P90. The G2622T-P90 is available in Brownstone, Forge Glow, and Gunmetal, and the G2622-P90 is available in Claret Burst and Havana Burst.
Lastly, the Gretsch G2410TG Streamliner Hollow Body Single-Cut offers contemporary players a modern twist on an old design. Designed specifically for the Streamliner Collection, Gretsch's new Broad'Tron BT-2S humbucking pickups improve definition, offering tight bass, crystal clear highs, and rich, throaty mids. Coupled with a fully hollow, single-cutaway archtop maple body and a Bigsby-licensed B60 tailpiece, this special Streamliner brings new shades to the great Gretsch sound. Did we mention new colorways too? The G2410TG is available in three all-new finishes: Ocean Turquoise, Single Barrel Stain, and Village Amber.
