Revv | Shawn Tubbs Tilt Overdrive/Boost Pedal
Shave Some Bass From Your Ideal Guitar Tone With the Flip of a Switch
Designed with the session player in mind, the Revv Shawn Tubbs Signature Tilt overdrive boost pedal offers a wide range of tones—providing an array of sound preferences that emulate the sonic characteristics and functional features found on some of his favorite single-channel tube amps.
Touch-Sensitive Overdrive:
Without even adjusting the controls, after activating the Tilt’s super touch-sensitive gain, playing softly cleans up the harmonics, while digging into the guitar with a heavy attack will give the guitarist’s tone more bite.
Gain Switch:
The Gain side of the Tilt pedal’s Treble control offers guitarists a broad sweep of the high frequencies, going from dark and silky, all the way up to the most bright, stinging leads. Meanwhile, mirroring the same function of cranked bass tone on a vintage tube amp, the Bass knob is voiced to control more of the low-mid—resulting in its own unique gain when turned all the way up!
Boost Switch:
After a guitarist has set their preferred tone, they can continue to tweak their sound to get it fit right where it needs to be in the mix using the Boost side of the pedal.
In addition to 12 dB’s of clean boost and harmonic richness engaging the Boost function adds, in general, the Tilt pedals’ signature “Tilt” EQ knob offers massive differences between turning all the way to the left (more top-end, less low-end) or right (more low-end, less top-end), so that—once the gain is set—the “Tilt” EQ is the only thing the guitarist would have to adjust in their tone stack.
To help sculpt the low-end even more, the “Tight” switch lets guitar players make precise adjustments, so the guitarist can cut the low-end and get their preferred tone into a producer’s preferred place position in a recording’s overall frequency spectrum.
Head to CME to get your own Revv Shawn Tubbs Signature Tilt Overdrive/Gain pedal—then go from bluesy growls to bright stinging leads, and flip your “Tight” switch to adjust your guitar tone right where you need it in the mix!

Released on September 30, 1982, Nebraska marked a radical departure for Bruce Springsteen. Recorded entirely alone on a four-track TEAC Portastudio in his Colts Neck, New Jersey bedroom, the album was never intended for release. Springsteen had planned to re-record the songs with the E Street Band, but the raw demos—haunting, intimate, and unvarnished—proved more powerful than any full-band attempt. In their imperfection, he found a truth he couldn’t recreate.
