Hot chicken, hotter gear!
The sun never sets on our vintage buyers, so when we got word about some country style wheelin’ and dealin’ on a whole barnful of chicken pickin’ classics they put on their cowboy hats, grabbed their Jerry Reed cassettes, and took to truckin’ eastbound and down all the way to Nashville for the Amigo Guitar Show.
Brother to Fort Worth’s Amigo International Guitar Show, the world’s largest consumer guitar event, Amigo Nashville is held every year in The Williamson County Ag Expo Park in Franklin, Tennessee, just thirty minutes outside of Nashville leaving plenty of time for sweet tea and hot chicken on the way.
This year’s show was one for the books, and not just because of the smell or because we’d burnt our lips off on all that hot chicken. Our sugar-and-spice-addled brains were laser-focused on taking home the event’s very best and we delivered, scoring a massive haul of 65 rare and valuable guitars like this incredibly clean 1970 Strat, spotless Les Paul Signature with Gold finish, player-grade ‘57 Les Paul Special, Telecaster Custom with rare natural finish and rosewood fingerboard combo, and three Nashville-made acoustics from the now-defunct Tennessee builder Grammer.
These guitars may have taken decades to get here but don’t sleep! The early bird gets the worm and our hand-selected vintage finds always fly out the door as quickly as we can bring them in, so If you’ve got anything you think we’d like to see–something old, something new, (hopefully not) something borrowed, something blue–just bring it on in to our Lincoln Avenue showroom and that’ll be cash on the barrelhead, son. Your new amigos at the buying counter are waiting.
Have any questions about something featured on this sneak peek? Give us a call now, or stop in and ask—we'll have these vintage beauties up and running in no time!
