CME Exclusive | GIBSON Harbor Blue ES-335
Our marketing wunderkind Evan is proud to present our exclusive Harbor Blue Gibson ES-335 Dot. One of 17 made during the final production run at Gibson’s Memphis facility, this very special ES-335 is outfitted with our exclusive T-Type pickups (modern replicas of 1970s T-Tops), the same aged nickel VOS hardware typically found on Custom Shop and Historic models, and an exclusive Harbor Blue finish never before offered on any Gibson.
A totally original hue inspired by classic cars and made just for us, our exclusive Harbor Blue finish is only available on these limited 335s, and once they’re gone, they’re gone. Evan shows you why now is the time to get your piece of Gibson Memphis history while you can, running this exclusive semi-hollow body through an all-exclusive rig featuring our Tweed Tone King Imperial MK II Amp, Scout Blue Benson Preamp Pedal, and Walrus Audio Fathom + Arp-87 Combo Reverb/Delay.
This beautiful, blue semi-hollow body is our exclusive Harbor Blue Gibson ES-335 Dot, one of 17 ever made and only available here at the Chicago Music Exchange. It’s a product of the very last production run of the Gibson Memphis factory and this very stunning Harbor Blue color has never been offered in the Gibson catalog before. It was mixed and made exclusively for us here at the Chicago Music Exchange and based off a vintage Chevy car color, as a lot of the guitar colors of the 50s, 60s, and 70s were. It also comes with VOS aged nickel hardware, which is typically found only on custom shop or historic models, so you're getting some really high quality components and appointments on this model for a lower price point.
Up top, we've got Grover “milk bottle” tuners. It also has our exclusive T-Type pickups, which are the first-ever replica of Gibson's 1970s T-Top pickups. These are a little underwound and made with smaller magnets for a lower output that works really well in the 335, giving you excellent clarity and note definition across any volume level–whether it be on your guitar, or if you're pushing your amp. This is truly a very special guitar. You will not find these anywhere else, and once they're gone, they're gone. They're never going to be made again, so this is truly an historic and pretty special model, and it sounds incredible.
I’m playing this 335 through an entirely exclusive rig, which is pretty cool. I’m going into our exclusive Tone King Imperial MK II in Tweed finish. You’ll be hearing a little bit of drive from our exclusive Scout Blue Benson Preamp Pedal, and then a little reverb and delay from our exclusive Walrus Audio Fathom + Arp-87 Combo Reverb/Delay. All of this stuff you can only find here at Chicago Music Exchange.
