IBANEZ ELECTRIC GUITARS
Founded in 1935 as Hoshino’s Spanish-style guitar division, Ibanez began garnering a reputation by the 1980s in the U.S. for its shred-ready appointments, like fast, skinny necks, high-output humbuckers, deep cutaways, and locking tremolo systems—all of which quickly made Ibanez one of the most popular brands among modern guitarists.
Carrying this ethos forward, new additions from the AZ line at CME embody time-tested Ibanez innovation and player-focused features like a smooth, oval neck grip, a well-balanced asymmetrical body shape, and the neck heel allowing for unrivaled playability. For blues players and jazz cats, the new Ibanez Artcore AS and AG models feature Super 58 pickups and are built to tackle just about any genre of music you throw at them! For the most recognizable and distinctive guitar in the Ibanez line, check out the RG series’ high-performance machines, honed for both speed and strength. Plus, the S series models now available at CME continue to be a marvel of form and function and remain at the cutting edge of Ibanez design!
