Vintage Vibes: 1965 Gibson Dove Sunburst

Our acoustic guru Karl soars on this 1965 Sunburst Gibson Dove. Not a feather is ruffled, nor out of place on this bird. Clean and pristine, just like its namesake, this Dove is in very good, original condition save for a strap pin installed on the neck heel. Even the ABR-1 bridge is present, preserved, and awfully lovely, as is the original chipboard case.

Labor of Love: Stelth Ulvang

Stelth Ulvang is a singer-songwriter who's ability to weave delicate lattices of deeply emotional lyrics over catchy rhythms is one not commonly shared amongst his peers. After performing "Denim," we sat down with Ulvang and Dorota Szuta to learn more about their lives in music in this Labor of Love.

It's the 1960 Natural Gibson ES-335. Special-ordered from the factory with a natural finish, split parallelogram inlays, and a Bigsby, this semi-hollow body beauty was once a part of the Chinery collection and is all original down to the wiring harness and PAF humbucking pickups. Let's listen!
