EXPERIENCE PRS 2020 MODERN EAGLE V
PRS unveils the Modern Eagle V, an extremely limited, maple 10 Top model with special appointments commemorating the 2020 Experience PRS event, the tenth of its kind, celebrated virtually in May.
If you haven’t attended the event, it’s a lot to experience.
Each year thousands of people gather at 380 Log Canoe Circle in Stevensville, Maryland, to celebrate the American guitar brand with BBQ and one-day-only clinics, concerts, interactive exercises, and the opportunity to purchase limited runs direct from the factory, available at no other time.
THE PRS MODERN EAGLE V IN RIVER BLUE
With the continuation of COVID-19, PRS moved this year’s Experience online, but its most noteworthy component, the Experience PRS 2020 Modern Eagle V, survives in extremely limited quantities distributed to select dealers. This commemorative guitar features an HSH pickup set, controlled by brand new electronics.
The 5-way switch operates much like the 509 models with positions for treble, treble and middle, middle, middle and bass, and bass. Two mini-toggles isolate the slug-side coils, transforming the dual humbuckers into TCI-tuned single coils.
The volume knob’s push-pull control activates both humbuckers, allowing the user to engage all three pickups at once, and a third mini-toggle reduces the volume pot value from 500K to 250K, offering further tonal variation.
The Experience PRS 2020 Modern Eagle V is available in both Charcoal and River Blue finishes. Quantities are extremely limited. Call, click, or stop in to reserve yours today.
