Case Details: Original black rectangular Fender hardshell with a plush orange interior and lots of nice wear. The left and right side latches spring function no longer operates.
Cosmetic Condition: Lots of nice aging and use can be seen throughout this instrument. Nicks and dings are present throughout the body and neck with it heaviest around the bottom edge. There is a roughly .75" x 1" area on the side of the treble-side horn where the finish has completely chipped away. Handwear is present on the back of the neck and is most prevalent along the treble-side. The hardware shows moderate tarnishing.
Serial Number: 259108
Tech Notes: The bass plays well with low action and light neck relief, and is currently set up with 45-100 strings. The truss rod is close to its maximum position, but the bass sets up well with standard light or extra light strings. The frets are low with mild wear present. The neck stamp, serial number, and electronics codes date the bass to 1969.
