GOLD. All that glitters, right?

It’s the color associated with one of the grandest celebrations of them all: 50th anniversaries!

Well, we gotta come clean on something. (whispering) We’re probably NOT gonna make it there, OK?

Philippe would be in his eighties, and if he’s still around, we really do not want him still designing pedals between naps.
So while we’re still young, let’s celebrate while we can with some gorgeous gold paint for having been at this for *fifteen* years, and having made over three thousand pizza fuzzes.

Now, this pizza does have more happening than just a fancy box. Inside there’s a tweaked circuit with two NOS Motorola 5089 transistors, and we’ve discovered that these old things are really, really NASTY.

These have more gain than what we use in our Hawaiian Pizza, and a little less noise. And the sticky-crunchy textures it makes when you back down off the effect input (shiny watch) or supply voltage (carrots) controls? (Makes chef’s kiss).
