Despite its obvious vintage, heavy metal aesthetic, the R2 is one of the most comfortable electric guitars in the world. The retro-futuristic body shape incorporates strategic arm and torso contours, making for a perfectly molded instrument that has become a player favorite.
The R2 v2 comes with small improvements to the original design, including setting the neck almost an inch further into the body to make a more compact instrument and eliminate issues with neck dive. The left side strap button has been moved to the rear of the body, which was a frequently requested modification, and helps the guitar hang off the body more neatly. Additionally, to make the higher register playing even more comfortable, we've added a nice heel contour where the neck meets the body, providing an even more effortless feel when moving up and down the fretboard.
