The following specs were carefully collected and recorded by a skilled technician. For a more detailed description and questions regarding sound, feel, or cosmetic condition, please visit our Lincoln Avenue showroom or call to speak to one of our Used and Vintage experts.
Finish Details: Original
Body Material: Mahogany
Body Details: Solid mahogany body; the pickup route has been opened up slightly in the corners to fit the p90
Neck Material: Mahogany
Fingerboard Material: Rosewood
Neck Profile: C
Neck Thickness (IN): 1st fret 0.822", 12th fret 1.011"
Fingerboard Radius: 10.00"
Nut Width: 1-11/16"
Scale Length: 24 3/4"
Neck Details: Mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard
Electronics: The original pickup has been replaced with a p90. The p90 has no visible markings on it, but appears to be a modern pickup. The guitar has both a cts and a centralab pot, both date to 1963, and the solder connections between them appear original so it is believed that these are both original to the guitar.
Pickup Measurements: 8.63
Hardware: The tuners, bridge, and bridge posts have all been replaced
Modifications/Repairs: The guitar has had a previous headstock repair and is solid and stable. The tuners, bridge, and bridge posts have been replaced. The original pickup has been replaced with an unmarked p90, and the body and pickguard have been modified to accommodate it. The guitar has been refretted and has a new nut. Dunlop style strap locks have been installed and recessed into the body.
Case Details: Hardshell
Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has a lot of play wear with many dings and scratches throughout the top and sides. The back has a fair bit of buckle rash. The back of the neck has some small dings up and down the length of the neck. The headstock has been previously repaired. There is finish checking throughout the instrument.
Serial Number: 134170
Tech Notes: Guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. Frets are at a medium height and show little sign of wear.
