Amplifier Condition: Amplifier is in good condition with light wear. The faceplate of the chassis has moderate wear, but is still shiny with bold font.
Amp Mods/Repairs: New filter caps, bias supply, and cabinet. 3-prong power cable installed. A few other components on the circuit board have been replaced. Two speakers have been replaced, and the octal tube sockets are not original.

Amp Details: Amplifier chassis retains its original transformers, pots, and yellow Astron capacitors. Most of the brown carbon composition resistors are original to the amp with a few being replacements. The octal power tube sockets have been replaced, and the amp has new filter caps. There are a few metal film resistors added to the preamp to reduce noise. The bias supply has been rebuilt. The cabinet is not original to the amplifier, but is built of correct timbers, and features two original speakers that would have been in this amplifier's original housing. Pot codes date to the 41st week of 1955, with serial number dating to 1956, making this amp an early 1956 unit. This amp was designed with much more negative feedback compared to its successors, and stays very clean when the volumes are pushed.
