Modifications/Repairs: | The pickup has been replaced. The nut has been replaced. The knobs have been replaced. The serial on the neck plate dates to 1974, and the lack of a serial on the neck itself points to pre 1976. However, the 1977 pots and the fact that the neck has been oversprayed while the body is original leads to question whether the neck and body are matching or if the body is from the later 70s. |
Case Details: | Original cardboard case |
Cosmetic Condition: | There is residue from a since removed sticker on the front of the body on the bass side. There are three drilled and filled holes along the edge of the bass side of the body as well as a hole on the lower horn where a previous strap button was installed. The body has many dings, scratches and scuffs throughout as well as some very faint finish checking. |
Serial Number: | 540493 |
Tech Notes: | Bass plays well with medium/low action and optimal neck relief. Frets are tall and show little sign of wear. |
