I've always wanted a pink strat and well... now I have one. This is my first real Fender (I've had several Squiers over the years). The CME exclusive was the best deal for the look I wanted (shell pink body, dark fret board, white knobs). I did some mods to it to make it my own: got rid of that **** mint green pickguard and replaced it with an official Fender "Moto" white pearl pickguard, installed some Fender locking tuners, and added some cat-themed inlay stickers. I'm not much of a player, more of a collector, so I can't comment on the quality of the pickups/electronics/sound, but it seems fine to me (it sounds like a guitar). I've got a Squier Affinity and a PRS Santana SE, but this is definitely my favorite out of the bunch.
I own over 20 guitars and I make it a point to shop from reputable dealers to make sure my instrument arrives to me in perfect shape. Chicago Music Exchange knocked it out of the park. This is my 1st Fender guitar and I must say it has far exceeded my expectations! The shell pink looks more beautiful in person than it does on CME's website! The Modern "C" neck is smooth and the fret work is flawless, so it's perfect if you play fast. The Player Series Alnico 5 pickups sound great. The 3-ply mint pickguard looks good against the shell pink body. The pickguard is a little warped by the bridge but it's not too noticeable and it is the only flaw I've found. The guitar feels a lot lighter to hold than I thought it would, so it's comfortable to play. It is well worth the purchase and CME staff did a great job with the ordering process and shipping. After years of buying other brands of guitars I am happy to finally own a Fender, and I'm so hooked on this Strat that it will be hard to buy anything else but a Fender again!

If you decide you'd like to return an item, please contact your Sales Rep, fill out the Return Request form below, or give us a call.
If you placed your order on Amazon or eBay, we advise issuing the return request from your account on the platform of purchase - our Customer Service team will process a refund upon receipt of the item(s).
Most new items may be returned within 30 days of delivery and most vintage & used items may be returned within 3 days of delivery for a full refund, exchange, or store credit. Please pack the product safely for the journey back to us. If the product was shipped for free, the charge will be deducted from refund, unless the reason for the return is outside normal circumstances.
Please contact us as soon as possible if your order was received incorrectly, damaged, or defective. Most times we will give you an RA number (Return Authorization). Why is that number important? This will allow us to speed up the process of the return.
We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee based on the return condition. Some items we just can’t take back for returns, due to a one time function like strings or drums heads and other times it’s not sanitary to do so with microphones or harmonicas. We strive to get your return processed quickly. Most of the time we have it done within two business days. Funds going back to credit cards usually takes two to four business days.
