The headstock face has some light checking around the tuners and on the back, and there are spots at the A and D tuners which have been filled with epoxy.
Serial Number: 0955
Tech Notes: The bass plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The truss rod is adjustable, and the wide frets show minimal wear. The headstock has developed a slight twist from years of string tension, but the neck is straight and the bass sets up well. The neck pocket stamp and the serial number date this bass to 1953.
