Fingerboard Material: Brazilian Rosewood
Neck Profile: Slim "C" profile
Neck Thickness (IN): .77" (1st fret), .97" (12th fret)
Fingerboard Radius: 7.25"
Nut Width: 1-5/8"
Scale Length: 34"
Neck Details: Bolt-on maple neck with unbound Brazilian rosewood veneer fretboard, dot inlays, and heel-adjust truss rod. The neck heel has a "5 AUG 62 C" stamp.
Electronics: Original black bobbin Fender split single coil pickup, with volume and tone controls. The volume pot has been replaced; the remainder of the wiring harness is original. The tone pot was made by Stackpole and dates to 1962.
Pickup Measurements: 11.1k
Hardware: Original
Weight: 8lbs 6oz
Modifications/Repairs: The volume pot has been replaced.
Case Details: Original hardshell case
Cosmetic Condition: The bass shows plenty of nice aging, with heavy finish wear on the body and back of the neck. There is heavy wear under the strings between the pickguard bridge, which has worn into the wood. The sides and edges of the body have heavy finish wear as well, and the wood has chipped slightly at the bass bout. The back of the body has heavy wear, buckle rash, and several large scratches. The pickguard has cracked at the treble horn and the output jack, but the metal shield is intact. The back of the neck has worn to a smooth and comfortable satin finish.
Serial Number: 75318
Tech Notes: The bass plays well with low action and minor neck relief; the truss rod is adjustable. The frets are narrow and low with light wear. The serial number, pot codes, and neck/body stamps date the bass to 1962.
