condition, please visit our Lincoln Avenue showroom or call to speak to one of our

Finish Details: | Incredibly rare "Selmer refin" Fiesta Red over sunburst. There is a very faint outline of the the initials "LC" on the face of the bass side horn (this is only visible under blacklight and is due to decals that were on the guitar but have since been removed). There is also a dark patch visible under black light next to the output jack plate. This is likely due to a guitar cable rubbing against the finish. (see photos). |
Body Material: | Alder |
Body Details: | Alder solid body |
Neck Material: | Maple |
Fingerboard Material: | Brazilian Rosewood |
Neck Profile: | Medium "C" |
Neck Thickness (IN): | 1st: 0.82 12th: 0.99 |
Fingerboard Radius: | 7.25" |
Nut Width: | 1-5/8" |
Scale Length: | 25 1/2" |
Neck Details: | One piece maple neck with unbound Brazilian rosewood veneer board. 2JAN64B neck stamp. |
Electronics: | Original stock pickups and wiring with 3-way pickup selector, master volume and tone controls. There is a two way slide switch added next to the three-way switch. It adds the bridge pickup to whatever is selected on the three-way switch. It is possible that this switch was added by Selmer along with the refin however we cannot confirm that. The switch wiring is aged consistently with the rest of the wiring harness. |
Pickup Measurements: | neck 5.7k ohms middle 6.5k ohms bridge 6.1k ohms |
Hardware: | Original hardware except for replaced bone nut. Trem cavity cover and screws are missing. |
Weight: | 8lbs |
Modifications/Repairs: | -The guitar has been refretted and the nut has been replaced. -There has been a small two position slide switch added to the pick guard. -The section of wood between the neck pocket and the neck pickup has been repaired. This is stable and doesn't effect playability. |
Case Details: | Original Selmer hard shell case with body protector and Selmer strap. The case handle has been replaced. |
Cosmetic Condition: | The guitar has light play wear for its age. The finish is glossy with light dents and scratches throughout. There are areas around the body where the red has chipped off exposing the sunburst beneath. |
Serial Number: | L20760 |
Tech Notes: | This vintage guitar plays well with low action. The serial number dates to 1964. |
