This guitar was previous owned by Eric Johnson and was used by Zac Brown on many recordings from Southern Ground Studio.

Electronics: The guitar has original black bobbin pickups and original wiring with three-way switch and 1954 pot codes. However some solder joints have been touched up and some leads have been spliced with heat shrink tubing. In addition the middle pickup tone control (third knob) has been converted to affect only the bridge pickup. This guitar was owned by Eric Johnson and this tone circuit is consistent with his signature models.
Pickup Measurements: neck 5.6k ohms middle 5.7k ohms bridge 6.1k ohms
Hardware: The hardware is all original except for the bridge pickup cover, knobs, nut and string tree. The original nut is included. The switch tip has broken it two pieces and been glued back together on the switch. It may not be original. The original back plate with circular holes is included but it is broken in half. There is also a non-original trem arm included.

Modifications/Repairs: The guitar has been refretted. The original frets are included. The bridge pickup cover, knobs, nut and string tree have been replaced. The original nut is included. The switch tip has broken it two pieces and been glued back together on the switch. Some solder joints have been touched up and some leads have been spliced with heat shrink tubing. In addition the neck tone control has been converted to only affect the bridge pickup.
Case Details: Hard shell case.
Cosmetic Condition: The guitar is in good condition for its age but has heavy play wear. The finish on the neck and fingerboard is heavily worn. The neck and middle pickup rings are deteriorated somewhat but still functional. The body has heavy play wear including dents and scratches around the edges and around the bridge and heavy buckle rash on the back. The face of the guitar, including the pick guard has light sanding scratches throughout. The metal hardware is tarnished.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action. The frets are tall with essentially no play wear. The neck heel pencil mark reads "TG-11-54" The trem cavity reads "6/54".
