Case Details: Original Hardshell Case
Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Fender Telecaster has aged nicely, with plenty of authentic wear on the glossy finish. The body has worn along the edges and sides, and has numerous small dents and dings scattered throughout. These are heavier on the back of the body, and there is checking throughout as well. The back of the neck is glossy with numerous small dings, and the edges of the fretboard are worn comfortably smooth. The hardware is nicely tarnished with age, and there is an open screw hole next to the top strap button from when the button was moved.
Serial Number: 266991
Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief, and the tall frets show minor wear. The neck is very straight even with the truss rod fully loosened, and so the guitar sets up best with 10 gauge strings or heavier. The serial number and neck stamp date the guitar to 1969.
