Neck Details: Bolt-on maple neck with unbound maple fingerboard, dot inlays, and heel-adjust truss rod. The nut has been replaced. The truss rod is close to its loosest position, but still has adjustability. The neck has a "3 FEB 73B" stamp.
Electronics: The guitar has been rewired with Fender Custom Shop single coil pickups; the wiring harness is composed of original parts, but has been fully rewired as it was previously modified incorrectly. Controls include 3-way blade switch and master volume/tone controls. The pot codes date to 1973.

Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has aged nicely; the glossy finish has attractive checking present, small dings, and patches of wear along the edges of the body. The neck is glossy with various minor dings along the back.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief, and is currently set up with 10s. The truss rod is close to its loosest adjustment, but is functional. The frets are wide and fairly low with minor wear. The serial number, heel stamp, and pot codes date to 1973.
