Body Material: Mahogany Body
Body Details: Mahogany back and sides with spruce top. The back of the body has a number of repaired cracks which have been reinforced with internal cleats. A few braces have also been reglued.

Cosmetic Condition: The guitar shows plenty of nice aging, with large patches of heavy wear on the top, along with finish checking and assorted scratches/dings. The sides of the body have scratches and dings as well, and the back has several repaired cracks. A number of these have been reinforced with internal cleats. There is a small chunk of wood missing from the back of the treble bout as well. The back of the neck has assorted small dings, and the binding is missing from the treble side; neither of these impact playability. Th edges of the headstock have additional wear in both the finish and the wood. The treble side of the nut has a small chunk missing, but has been slotted to hold the high E string securely.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief, and is currently set up with nickel wound strings due to the magnetic pickup. The truss rod is adjustable. The frets are narrow and fairly low with divots and wear; the guitar is set up to play cleanly and comfortably. The FON dates to 1958, while the pot codes date the instrument to 1959.
