This instrument exclusively features woods hand-picked by CME’s expert guitar-buying team at the Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville, paired with one of our favorite finishes, plus a thoughtful combination of preferred fingerboards, neck profiles, pickups, and hardware, to make this customized Gibson guitar.
The 1957 Les Paul Custom is easily one of the most iconic and beautiful guitars ever made. It features a body carved out of a single large piece of solid mahogany & a choice 2-Piece Maple Top, unique among Les Paul models. The resulting dark mid-range tone from the body pairs perfectly with its bright-sounding Indian rosewood fingerboard. All together, it's the pinnacle of guitar craftsmanship, design and tone.
