Finish Details: Original. There is a small circular touchup on the back of the heel from a prior repair, as well as touched up red finish underneath the fretboard tongue.
Body Material: Maple
Body Details: Semi-hollow body with laminated maple back, sides, and top. There are a few repaired cracks in the bass-side cutaway area of the top.

Neck Details: Set-in one piece maple neck with unbound rosewood fretboard, dot inlays, headstock volute, and headstock truss rod adjustment. The neck has been reset, and there is a small circular plug with finish touchup on the back of the heel.
Electronics: Original Gibson mini-humbucker pickups with embossed covers and patent numbers, and original wiring harness with 3-way toggle switch and independent volume/tone controls. Some solder joints have been touched up. The pot codes date to 1972.

Case Details: Original chipboard case
Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has aged nicely, with expected play wear given its age. The finish is glossy with swirls, scratches, and other assorted small blemishes. There are a few repaired cracks in the cutaway portion of the top on the bass side, as well as moderate buckle rash on the back. There is a circular plug with touched up finish on the back of the heel; the rest of the neck has a few small dings, but is mostly glossy and smooth.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and light neck relief; there is a hump where the neck meets the body, but the guitar is set up to play cleanly and comfortably. It is currently set up with 10s, and the truss rod is adjustable. The frets are wide and low with light wear. The pot codes and serial number date the guitar to 1972.
