Finish Details: The guitar has been fully oversprayed with clear lacquer. The sides of the headstock were also stripped and left unfinished.

Body Details: Semi-hollow body with laminated maple back, sides, and top. The body has been oversprayed.

Neck Details: Set-in mahogany neck with bound rosewood fretboard, block inlays, and headstock truss rod adjustment. There is a small repaired separation of the headstock wing beneath the low E tuner, and the neck has been oversprayed. The finish on the sides of the headstock has been stripped. The tuners have also been replaced.
Electronics: Original Gibson pickups; only the neck pickup has its patent number sticker. Original wiring harness with 3-way toggle switch and volume/tone controls for each pickup. The pot codes are obscured.
Pickup Measurements: 7.6k (neck), 7.5k (bridge)
Hardware: The bridge is a non-original "Nashville" style bridge, mounted to the original ABR-1 bridge posts. The tuners, truss rod cover, and switch tip have also been replaced.

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Gibson ES-335-12 has aged nicely, with checking and various scratches and dings on the glossy overspray. The body has some finish chips and buckle rash on the back, and the neck has scattered dents. There are a few runs/drips in the clear overspray, and there is a repaired separation of the headstock wing just underneath the low E tuner. The finish on the side of the headstock has been stripped.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and mild neck relief, and the wide frets are medium height with light play wear. The serial number and construction appointments date the guitar to 1968.
