Finish Details: The guitar was refinished in black, and appears to have been done some time ago. There are some additional small touchups on the headstock around the tuner shafts, after Grover tuners were installed then subsequently removed.

Electronics: Original Gibson pickups with patent number sticker on the bridge pickup, and original components in the wiring harness with 3-way toggle switch and volume/tone controls for each pickup. The pickup covers appear to have been changed out for chrome ones. A ground wire was run to the vibrola. The pot codes date to 1964.
Pickup Measurements: 7.5k (neck), 7.8k (bridge)
Hardware: A Lyre vibrola has been added. The chrome pickup covers and ABR-1 bridge are era-correct parts, but do not appear to be original to the guitar.

Modifications/Repairs: -Refinished in black -Added vibrola -The ground wire has been relocated to underneath the vibrola -Tuner holes were at one point reamed for Grovers, then filled and touched up with black -Pickup covers and ABR-1 bridge replaced with era-correct parts with chrome plating

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Gibson ES-335 is in very clean condition, with only light marks, scratches, and checking present on the glossy finish. There is some wear around the edges of the headstock.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action, and the wide frets are medium height with minor play wear. The serial number and pot codes date the guitar to 1964.
