Electronics: Both pickups are Gibson humbuckers with "Patent Applied For" stickers; the neck pickup has been rewound. The wiring harness has touched up solder joints, and a ground wire has been added from the treble stopbar stud to the harness. The output jack and its lead in the wiring harness have been replaced. The pot codes date to 1958.

Hardware: The tuners and bridge have been replaced. The original parts are included, however the tuner buttons have deteriorated and the bridge has deformed from string tension. A stopbar tailpiece has been added to the guitar. The original Bigsby is included.

Case Details: Original Hardshell Case
Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Gibson ES-335 shows nice aging, with light checking and signs of use on the glossy finish. The hardware has developed a patina, and there are open screw holes from the original Bigsby. The back of the neck has various light dings and signs of use. There is some delamination of the top ply, visible at the F-holes, which is not unusual for early 3-ply ES-335 tops. There is also a slight repaired separation at the bottom of the guitar body.
