Neck Details: Set mahogany neck with bound Indian rosewood fingerboard and split parallelogram inlays. The neck has been refretted. The headstock has a crack repair on the rear, along the edge of the volute.
Electronics: Original patent sticker Gibson pickups with three-position selector switch, volume and tone controls for each pickup, and Varitone switch. The neck volume pot and bridge tone pot have been replaced. Solder joints have been touched up. The electronics have a stereo output, and the guitar must be used with a Y cable.
Pickup Measurements: Neck 7.79K, Bridge 7.55K
Hardware: The bridge as been replaced with a period correct Gibson patent number ABR bridge, but is not original to the guitar. All other hardware is original. The original bridge is included in the case.

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage guitar is in good condition with notable wear. The finish is heavily weather-checked. There is a large area of wear on the top at the bass side lower bout and on the back of the body. The finish has worn away on the edges of the headstock face. The bridge pickup cover has been worn through on the bass side, exposing the bobbins. The hardware has a strong patina.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action. The frets are wide and tall, with no play wear. The serial number dates to 1968, but the guitar has 1969 appointments including the headstock logo, volute, and full neck profile with narrow nut width.
