Finish Details: There is a touched up headstock repair, with touchups on the front and back. The rest of the neck has been oversprayed as well. The finish on the body appears original.

Electronics: Both pickups have been replaced. The neck is a Gibson "T-Top" humbucker with a patent number sticker, and the bridge pickup is a later Gibson humbucker with the patent number embossed. The wiring has also been converted to mono operation. The Varitone is functional, and the date codes on the pots are obscured.

Hardware: The guitar has been converted to a stopbar tailpiece, and the bridge has been replaced. The nut has been replaced as well. The original ABR-1 bridge and nut are included. The pickguard bracket has a replaced nut.

There is a repaired headstock crack with finish touchups on the front and back, and the neck appears to be oversprayed. The pickups have been replaced, and the wiring has been converted to mono operation. A stopbar tailpiece has been installed, and the bridge is replaced.
Case Details: Original Hardshell Case. The original case is missing the handle, and the guitar comes with an additional hardshell case.
Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Gibson ES-345 shows nice aging, with play wear and checking throughout. The headstock has a repaired crack, with touchups visible on the back as well as on the face. The neck is nicely worn, and the hardware has a strong patina. There are also open screw holes near the bottom strap button from the original trapeze tailpiece.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action, and the frets are tall with no wear. The serial number dates the guitar to 1960.
