Body Details: Maple top, back, and sides -- There is a significant repair around the output jack on the sidewall of the treble-side lower bout. A maple graft has been placed around/near the jack and the surrounding area has been over-sprayed.

Electronics: Three P-90 pickups, 4-way blade pickup selector switch, volume & tone controls per pickup -- Original showing no signs of modification or repair. Pot codes are not available.
Pickup Measurements: Neck: 8.3 kΩ, Middle: 7.9 kΩ, Bridge: 7.7 kΩ
Hardware: Original gold excluding neck heel strap button.
Modifications/Repairs: Has been refretted -- Non-original nut -- Sidewall repair around the output jack; the surrounding area has been touched-up/over-sprayed -- Strap button on neck heel

Cosmetic Condition: This ES-5 shows nice aging and play wear. Heavy finish checking is present throughout with various nicks, dings, scratches, and other various blemishes. The hardware shows tarnishing.
Serial Number: A25327
Tech Notes: Currently, set up with 11-gauge strings using a wound-third string, low action, and optimal neck relief. The medium frets show light play wear. -- The serial number and appointments date this Gibson from 1957.
