|Three-piece Mahogany body.
|1st - .90" & 12th - 1.05"
|One-piece Mahogany neck with a Rosewood fingerboard and dot inlays. The frets are original.
|Non-original patent stamped humbuckers with a three-position switch, two volume pots, and a master tone pot. The bridge volume pot codes date to 1976 and the others are covered by solder.
|Bridge: 7.41kΩ Neck: 7.44kΩ
|Original tuners, nut, bridge, and tail-piece.
|-Non-original patent stamped humbuckers.
-Solder joints have been touched up.
-A hole drilled in between the volume pots has been plugged.
|Original Hardshell Case
|Guitar is in good cosmetic condition for it's age. There are numerous dings, dents, and scratches throughout the body. At some point, there was a hole drilled in between the volume pots but has been plugged. The hardware is heavily tarnished, most notably on the bridge and pickup covers.
|This Explorer plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The frets are low and worn. It has been properly setup and intonated in standard tuning. The back of the headstock is stamped "SECOND".
