Finish Details: Original finish on the body and neck. The back of the headstock appears to have been oversprayed as part of the headstock repair. There is also some minor black touchup on the headstock face along the crack.

Neck Details: Set-in three piece mahogany neck with unbound ebony fretboard, dot inlays, and headstock truss rod adjustment. There is a repaired headstock break which has been reinforced with the addition of two mahogany splines inlaid in the back of the neck. The back of the headstock has been oversprayed, and the front of the crack has been touched up with black.
Electronics: Original Gibson pickups with embossed patent numbers and black ink stamps, and original wiring harness with 3-way toggle switch and volume/tone controls for each pickup. The pot codes date to 1981.

Hardware: The strap buttons have been replaced with strap locks.

Cosmetic Condition: The guitar shows mostly normal cosmetic wear for its age; the finish is glossy with surface scratches, numerous small dings, and other minor blemishes. The back of the neck has patches of finish wear along with the repaired headstock break and inlaid splines.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief, and is currently set up with 10s. The frets are wide and fairly low, with light wear. The serial number dates to 1982.
