Finish Details: Original. The last three digits of the serial number have been scratched off the back of the headstock, and touched up with black.

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Gibson J-200 shows nice aging, with checking and light play wear throughout the glossy finish. The last three digits of the serial number are scratched off the back of the headstock, and touched up with black. The gold hardware has a light patina.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action, and the frets are medium-low with signs of play wear from open chords. The last three digits of the serial number were scratched off the label and back of the headstock by the original owner. There is a letter included between a subsequent owner and the original explaining that the guitar was purchased new in 1965 as a factory second, the last 3 digits were scratched off, and was sold to another owner later in the year.
