Pickup Measurements: neck 7.5k ohms bridge 7.4k ohms
Hardware: The jack plate and screws holding the jack plate control cavity cover are not original. The rest of the hardware is original.

Modifications/Repairs: -The gold finish on the back of the neck is completely worn away. A previous owner has applied an oil finish to the bare wood of the neck to seal it. -The jack plate and screws holding the jack plate control cavity cover are not original. -There are extra holes under the clover edge of the lower bout from a different tail piece that was installed at some point. -The solder joints on the output jack have been touched up.

Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has heavy play wear. The finish is glossy with considerable checking throughout. The back of the body has moderate buckle rash. The gold finish is completely worn away from the back of the neck. The metal hardware is nicely tarnished with age.
Tech Notes: -The guitar plays well with low action. The original frets are are small with moderate play wear. -Most first year Les Pauls did not have serial numbers. By appointments, this guitar undoubtedly dates to 1952.
