Finish Details: Original finish on the body, headstock face, and neck up to the 1st/2nd fret. The back of the headstock and transition area has been refinished to conceal a crack repair.

Neck Details: Set-in three piece mahogany neck with bound ebony fretboard, block inlays, and headstock volute. There is a repaired headstock crack, and the back of the neck from the 1st/2nd fret to the end of the headstock has been refinished. The neck has also been refretted and the nut has been replaced.
Electronics: Original Gibson pickups with patent number decals and embossed covers, and original wiring harness with 3-way toggle switch and volume/tone controls for each pickup. The pot codes date to 1973.
Pickup Measurements: 7.7k (neck), 7.7k (bridge)
Hardware: The nut has been replaced, and the pickguard is missing.
Modifications/Repairs: Headstock repair with finish touchup. Refretted. Replaced nut.
Case Details: Original hardshell case
Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has aged nicely; the finish has plenty of natural wear including small dings, scratches, and patches of checking/hazing. There is a finish crack in the top which extends from the neck volume control to the end of the body, and the back has heavy buckle rash. The neck has moderate wear, including a notable patch from the 7th to 9th frets on the treble side. The headstock repair has been concealed with a partial refinish, and is not visible.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief, and is currently set up with 10s. The frets are wide and tall with minor wear. The serial number dates to 1972, while the electronics date the guitar to 1973.
