Scale Length: 24 3/4"
Electronics: The pickups have been replaced with DiMarzio Super Distortion humbuckers and the guitar has been fully rewired. The guitar has two humbuckers, a three-way selector switch, two volume pots, and two tone pots. The two visible pot codes date to 1980 and 1974.

Modifications/Repairs: The pickups have been replaced with DiMarzio Super Distortion humbuckers and the guitar has been fully rewired. The bridge, strap buttons, switch tip, jack plate, and pickup rings have been replaced. Another bridge had once been installed, but the guitar has been converted back to its proper Nashville ABR bridge. The studs from that previous bridge have since been plugged. The nut has been replaced with a brass nut. The poker chip has been removed.
Case Details: Hardshell case.
Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Gibson guitar has aged well and is in good condition. The finish is glossy with light surface scratching and shallow dings throughout. The top around the switch shows the footprint of where the poker tip originally was. The knobs have some small chips. The back of the body shows some light buckle rash and a finish chip near its middle. The neck finish is well worn, with a large section of exposed wood. The metal hardware is lightly tarnished and pitted with age.
Serial Number: 961645
Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The frets are wide and medium height with moderate play wear. The serial number dates to 1972, but the three piece maple neck suggests a 1974 date. The guitar has been marked as a factory second.
