Neck Details: Three-piece maple neck with bound ebony fingerboard and block inlays. A new bone nut has been fitted.
Electronics: Original patent stamped humbuckers and electronics; three-position selector switch with dedicated volume and tone controls for each pickup. The neck pickup is stamped "Aug 6 1980" and the bridge pickup is stamped "May 16 1980." One pot code dates to 1980, two other pots date to 1979, and the remaining pot code is covered by solder.
Pickup Measurements: Neck 7.61K, Bridge 7.51K
Hardware: The pickup ring mounting screws, pickup adjustment screws, and bridge have been replaced. Strap locks have been installed, and the nut has been replaced. All other hardware is original. The original nut, bridge, and pickup mounting screws are included in the case.

Case Details: Original hardshell case. The case is well worn.
Cosmetic Condition: This guitar is in good condition with moderate wear. The finish is glossy and hazy, with scratches, dents, and dings throughout. There is some buckle rash an heavier wear on the back of the body. The neck binding has cracked near the fret ends, and a small section of binding on the treble side upper corner of the headstock has chipped off. The hardware has a strong patina.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action. The frets are wide, low, and flat, with moderate wear. The serial number, pickup date stamps, and one pot code date to 1980.
