Modifications/Repairs: The guitar has been fully refinished. The pickups have been replaced with Gibson mini humbuckers and several solder joints have been retouched. All the pots have been replaced with Gibson embossed pots. The neck has been refretted and re-radiused to 10" and the nut has been replaced. A headstock break has been repaired. All the hardware has been replaced: the tuners, the strap buttons, the pickguard and bracket, the bridge, the tailpiece, and the back plates. The truss rod cover has previously been removed and is not included with the instrument. The corners of the end of the fingerboard have been sanded down.
Case Details: Hardshell Case
Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Gibson guitar is in good condition. The finish is glossy with light scratches and small dings and dents scattered throughout. The top shows small finish chips around the bridge and tailpiece and pickup cavities. The headstock shows light finish wear around its edges and some discoloration by the B and G tuners.
Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The frets are medium width and tall with minimal play wear. The guitar lacks a legible serial number and pot codes, but from the mahogany construction of the neck, we believe this guitar dates between 1972 to 1976.
