Body Details: Solid one piece mahogany body with carved maple cap. The pickup routes have been modified to fit a full-size humbucker. There are a few wood pieces glued into the corners of the pickup routes to allow for mounting the pickup rings.

Neck Details: Set-in three-piece maple neck with bound rosewood fretboard, trapezoid inlays, and headstock volute. The neck has been refretted.
Electronics: The guitar has been fully rewired with Electric City pickups and an Emerson wiring harness. Controls include a 3-way toggle selector switch and independent volume/tone controls.
Pickup Measurements: 8.0k (neck), 8.6k (bridge)
Hardware: The tuners have been replaced with Gotoh locking tuners (with conversion bushings), and the tailpiece has been replaced with a locking stopbar. The pickguard is also not original; the original was modified to fit full-size humbuckers and is included.

Cosmetic Condition: The guitar shows play wear consistent with its age, with numerous small dings and chips throughout. The back has some mild buckle rash, and the sides of the body have some heavier dings and finish chips as well. There is some light checking at the neck heel, and a scratch on the back of the neck behind the second fret.

Tech Notes: Plays well with low action and light neck relief; the guitar is currently set up with 10s. The frets are large with minor wear. There is a "March 1978" stamp inside the electronics cavity, and the serial number dates the guitar to 1978,
