Description

The following specs were carefully collected and recorded by a skilled technician. For a more detailed description and questions regarding sound, feel, or cosmetic condition, please visit our Lincoln Avenue showroom or call to speak to one of our Used and Vintage experts.
Finish Details: The back of the neck has been refinished from the headstock down to the middle of the body; the refinished areas are slightly more yellowed than the original finish. The remainder of the finish on the back, as well as all of the finish on the front of the guitar, is original.
Body Material: Mahogany
Body Details: Solid mahogany body
Neck Material: Mahogany
Fingerboard Material: Ebony
Neck Profile: "C" profile
Neck Thickness (IN): .79" (1st fret), .88" (12th fret)
Fingerboard Radius: 9.50"
Nut Width: 1-5/8"

Neck Details: Set-in mahogany neck with unbound ebony fretboard, block inlays, and headstock truss rod adjustment. There is a crack at the heel which has been repaired. The neck has also been refretted, and the nut is not original. The fingerboard radius appears to have been rounded further during the refret, and the edges are slightly rolled.
Electronics: The neck and bridge pickups and wiring harness are original, with "patent applied for" stickers, although the covers on both have been removed and resoldered. The bridge pickup appears to have been modified to be in phase with the non-original middle pickup, which is a modern Gibson USA humbucker. Some solder joints in the harness have been touched up, and the bridge ground wire has been replaced. The controls include 3-way toggle switch (middle position is middle + bridge pickups), and neck/bridge pickup volume and tone controls. The pot codes date to 1960.
Pickup Measurements: 8.2k (neck), 7.7k (bridge), 7.9k (middle)
