Neck Details: One piece mahogany neck with bound Brazilian rosewood board.
Electronics: Original with P90 pickups and 1955 pot dates. The pickups are out of phase in the middle position. This appears to be factory original.
Pickup Measurements: neck 7.4k ohms bridge 7.6k ohms
Hardware: The hardware is all original except for replaced tuner tips and replaced output jack plate.
Modifications/Repairs: The guitar has been refretted. The tuner tips and output jack plate have been replaced. There is a small repair to the wood between the treble side tailpiece stud and the pickup cavity (see pics). This is not affecting function.
Case Details: Black Gibson hard shell case with purple interior.
Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has moderate play wear. There is finish checking all over the body and neck. The body has various dents and scuffs, especially around the edges and on the back. The hardware is tarnished. The finish on the back of the neck is heavily worn.
Serial Number: 64911
Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action. The frets are small with light play wear. The out of phase middle position appears to be factory original. The leads on one of the pickups could be flipped in order to get a normal middle position sound if desired. The serial number dates to 1956.
